I have been trying to find a fully defined file for this ECU and after some reading I concluded I either have to find a different bin or buy a different ECU.
I have been looking for a bin that has 5.12 bootrom and EPK = 40/1/ME7.5/5/4016.32//24e/Dst04o/190101 but I couldnt finy any.
Does anybody know any that would fit the criteria while having an a2l or fully defined xdf/ols? Car is an A4 B6. I need this to do the 5120 hack (or at least make attemps at doing it easier).
If nothing is present Ill just buy a different ECU. Thank you from the mountain

Should be able to cross flash to the 518f I think there is a public 5120 hack for that as well

You have no way to disable immo? Then you don’t need to guess.. my understanding is BB AK and AF are all cross flashable however if you ram into issue flashing just go disable immo in boot mode.. but I am almost certain you should be able to go to AF or AK file without immo defeat.

Wait.. A4 B6?? Surely you must mean 518 not 018? :shrug: and if you mean B not BB then yes you should be able to go to 518F but if you run into issue you will need to disable immo.

-> Bootrom Version = 05.12
-> EPK = 40/1/ME7.5/5/4016.32//24e/Dst04o/190101//
-> Contents of ECUID data table:
   - '0261206868'         (SSECUHN)
   - '1037360990'         (SSECUSN)
   - '8E0906018B  '       (VAG part number)
   - '0004'               (VAG sw number)
   - '1.8L R4/5VT     '   (engine id)
-> Contents of ECUID data table:
   - 'HW_MAN004'

I meant 018B, not 518B.

I bought a 518AL back in april so I will be trying to make that work. Thank you for responding.

Sorry, I had to take a break from tuning my car due to various reasons, that's why it took so long to respond lol.

I started to make one years ago, but since my buddy sold the car, the project stopped. It was the AVJ Engine.

I still have the files, but they are not particularly complete. And possibly not correct either.

If you're interested, I could have a look anyway.
