Hello everybody.

In first, I'm French, so excuse me if my English is bad.
I have been registered on this forum for years and so far, I have always found the answers to my questions. But today I need help.
I have an AUDI A3 1.8T AGU that I upgraded to wideband with all the necessary parts except the intake camshaft and the VVT.
My ECU comes from an AUDI TT BAM 225ch 8N0906018H with the engine harness.
My question: Are the stock ignition maps a good basis when I have non-VVT camshafts or should I rely on the ignition maps of a non-VVT ECU to avoid problems engine like exhaust gas overheating?

you are talking about this: 058 109 021 M: AUM, ARX, ARY, AUQ, AMK, BAM, AUL 058 109 021 B: AGU 058 109 021 F: AGN, APG I don't think they are different in opening confirmed. and for the vvt you can activate/delete it in the file

Thank you for your response.

I have no problem disabling the VVT by deactivating the hardware in ESKONF, modifying the maps:
KFNWKHE
KFNWKHLLE
KFNWSE
KFNWWLE
And disabling the diagnostic with the code word CDNWS.

There is a slight difference between the camshafts 058 109 021 B and 058 109 021 M.

058 109 021 B      058 109 021 M
IVO = 18°            IVO = 18°
EVC = 28°           EVC = 28°
IVC = 28°            IVC = 30°
EVO = 8°            EVO = 10°

I have studied the maps of the FR sections:
ZWGRU 23.110
ZWSTT 4.30
ZWOB 4.10
ZWWL 5.40
MDZW 1.120
ZWMIN 5.10
From both VVT and non-VVT ECUs.

Since the VVT and non-VVT camshafts are slightly different and some ignition maps are very different between the VVT and non-VVT ECUs, I am wondering if I should start with the non-VVT ignition maps.

Thank you for reading.
