hey all
can someone here explain how this formula work
1st: 250 and (NV1+NV2)/2-1
2nd: (NV1+NV2)/2+1 and (NV2+NV3)-1
3rd: (NV2+NV3)/2+1 and (NV3+NV4)-1
...
6th: (NV5+NV6)/2+1 and 19

i calculated nvquot for each gear
here is the result

nv1 134.438
nv2 77.429
nv3 50.847
nv4 36.612
nv5 28.074

here is how i do it

1st 250 and  134.438 + 77.429/2-1=104.933
2nd 134.438+77.429/2+1=106.933 and 77.429+50.847-1= 127.276
3rd 77.429+50.847/2+1=65.138 and 50.847+36.612-1=86.463

is that correct ?

I followed PRJ's instructions on this thread http://nefariousmotorsports.com/forum/index.php?topic=21242.0 and I calculated all the gear ratios thanks to him
Here is a picture of what I did
Since my transmission is a 5 speed I changed the gear ratios in 6th gear to 0
