 Grin Yessss. Im so glad im not the only one : ). i cant stand the turbos on the bottomside. i started mine 4 days ago i should be done here in a couple of days. I upgraded to K04's and a spark plug came apart and grenaded one.  Cry

I forgot about this guys sorry , my custom intake had big Boom !!!! Use my stock intake for now , one of my piston had crack ! Going with 92.8 Stroke Smiley and 82MM JE pistons . I will post some pictures soon .

93 Oct + Meth at 30 Psi . Temperature is over 80F and 45% Humidity , My Fuel pump is maxed out at 30 psi , FUELLAB pump is in the way , I will continue tune at pump gas + higher boost . 

My wife 2011 S4 DSG J-Fonz Stage 1 made 360WHP & 330 WTQ

This is not an attack, so don't take it as such....

But to people think about surface area when they choose filters for these hot air intakes? I have had several cars that had such restrictive setups, after changing them we picked up 30, 40hp.

I thought it was the ccv filter before I expanded the picture.  Wink

No they don't, that kind of filter needs to be one of the largest available from the manufacturer for a high hp car, I would say like twice the size of the one in the picture. Sure, limited space can often be a problem, but still.

Yup. The filters I run are 10" long with 8" diameter bases. You need to at least match teh stock air filter, or else why not keep the stock air filter!
