I'm trying to set things up but I have read a bunch of different interpretations that all say different things. I'm lost. I'm trying to increase irl to 215. I dont know what maps actually have to be changed either because of all the misdirection. At this point I dont understand the concept or the literature. I'm willing to admit I may be a little stupid after trying to figure it out and failing. I dont want to give up on it so if someone could give me instructions on how to increase irl/iop and associated maps properly related to load and timing, I would love you forever. I've been struggling It doesnt help that I'm a visual-learner when I'm trying to translate peoples conversations on here lol.

I tried using the interpolator but the program wont work for me. I dont think I have the full version of the software it uses. I dont know if someone feels like generating me an iop/irl that peaks at 215 and a list of what maps actually have to be changed? I know the axis values have to be changed in a few timing maps also? I feel like I'm 90% there but could use some help from someone if they want to help Smiley

You cannot raise last row(s) to 215 and make this map smooth? Should stop then

I didn't ask for a tune, sir. I'm hung up on one friggin thing so cut me some slack please. I'd rather think we're all homies coming here for the same enjoyment than enemies jumping on opportunities to hurt each others feelings. As if all this is supposed to be second nature or something. I personally tend to treat noobs in my passions (Guitar/fishing/hobby-grade r/c car racing) with more enthusiasm and comradery because that kind of encouragement is much more productive in general. I'd rather build people up if I'm gonna have anything to do with them. I don't have any concern with clashing egos. I was trying to be light hearted and friendly so I'm a little disappointed that I'm immediately having to address disrespect and confrontation.. lol. It's my intention to give you the benefit of the doubt.  I'd ask you to do the same and lets be kind to each other please.

Like I said, I have read conflicting statements on how to do this over the years and I'm incredibly confused about IRL/IOP and if anything what do I need to do to associated timing tables? In your message you'd said that associated timing table axis' will change automatically when I change the 191 row in IOP to 211.2?

Pardon me to seem stupid and/or lazy. I am autistic and have trouble communicating what I want to say or comprehending exactly what someone is telling me at times. I am a very visual learner and it can be limiting. I'm very insecure about it but humble enough to say I do pretty good for someone whos legally disabled with a mental handicap. I try my best though I'm not perfect. lol, If its money you want pm me your cash ap and we can handle it that way if money is the big frickin problem. This was a very stressful message to have to write and I just wanted some help.

I just need an IOP generated because the program says something about not having macros. Blah blah, signed into it and did all I could without being familiar with the program. Pasted my IRL and pressed generate IOP everything seemed to be going nicely at that point, but I got a macro error message. Maybe someone knows what my macro problem is? Simply says I don't have them (That's all the info it gives me) and I just don't really know where to begin in resolving that. I dont want to pay for features on the program if I end up not being able to use it anyways. I attached the interpolator I tried using.

If somebody has the interpolator functioning I would really appreciate it if you could feed it the attached IRL and then apply it to the bin and post it. I can do checksums. Thank you.

That's all I really need and I can handle it from there. If that's even what I'm supposed to do...

I attached my bin/xdf. Let me know what you think about my IRL, thank you. I may have done more than I need to. Youre saying I should raise the 90% and 100% with 191 values to 211.2 and then smooth it in relation to the entire field? Or just smooth the 90% and 100% rows down to the 70% row? I pretty much did that and then some. If the lower portions of the map need to be unchanged I will go back and do it again.
Would that IRL then be fed to the interpolator or do I just change the 191 axis in IOP to 211.2 and then I'm good to do timing from there? (Just as if I hadn't changed the values in either IRL/IOP at all?)

I actually set it to 211.2 instead of 215 because I'm a fan of the band rush and absolutely could not help myself. Thanks for any help guys.

Last reply has the interpolator attached

Raise last row of irl to 215 or whatever you want
Smooth it from ~70%

Raise last row of iop close to 95..100%
Don't forget to reflect those changes at iop axis
Nothing special here
There also community project available here so you can reference it

I made the IRL/IOP changes. Let me know what you think about what I ended up settling on.

I'm now wondering about the timing map axis'. I was told I don't have to manually change those. Is that correct?

there are x topics on this engine and calculator here and on myaudis4.com. you have the Hitachi maf. use the search bar you will find what you are looking for. you modified the axis so it is also modified in zwop/2 but not in kfzw/2. read the community project. what modification did you make to this engine? fuel used?

The search feature here is notoriously ineffective lol. I've read that in more than one thread..

I actually picked up an 05 b6 s4 that the previous owner swapped in a belted timing 4.2 from a 2003 s6? So I don't have anything 2.7t yet other than preparing what I can. I was worried about figuring out iop/irl because I need it around the end of summer. I've sorted out flashing/tuning/logging utilities on my computer and laptop that I used to use for playing around with stage 2/e-85 tunes on my old b5 s4. I just wanted to try and tackle and get out of the way/off my mind. I think I never requested more than 18 psi peak on k03's and didn't have to do much with iop/irl before. I don't remember that well though to be honest. I am using this 0002 m-box file as a template for now until I get a crossflasheable ecu from the yard next week and will copy-paste the changed fields to my pre-tune ecu.

I have had mixed results with the functionality of the various calculators on here, but I will continue to try to find the excel version(s) I think used to work for me. There was one that worked flawlessly for me that did injector and maf scaling.

I will read more about zwop/2 kfzw/2, thank you. I get confused when reading people discuss what was or wasn't necessary.

It'll just be a frankenturbo setup with fmic and fueling support. Just pump gas. It's 92oct here in mid-Oregon.
