Have anyone tried to flash an Exx DSG DQ250 (Hardware number: 02E 927 770 AJ) with a Fxx firmware (Hardware number: 02E 927 770 AL) without issues? Is it possible to be done through OBD? Both Exx and Fxx sgo files have the same size (704KB) which indicates that they can cross flashed but I would like to confirm before try it. Thanks in advance!

Not sure why you would want to do that to begin with?

I have no logs because I have a boost gauge (makes things easier)

Fxx is updated compared to Exx, so if it is possible to do it without issues I would like to try it.

Exx and Fxx are different, you can't write sgo from one to another.

Thank you for your feedback! This is also my understanding due to the fact that the size of sgo files for both Exx and Fxx is the same. My only concern is if it is doable through OBD.

Been a long time ago, but I am pretty sure I have flashed Exx to Fxx before. You can certainly do that through SBOOT, I don't remember about OBD.

Ok, i know you know lot of things. Please flash Fxx file into Exx mechatronic and tell me the result . PLEASE. As I said, I'm pretty certain I've done it before in SBOOT. Fxx -> MQB was the same as well if I remember it. Obviously won't work OBD.
