Hi Guys,

I own a 8l s3 1.8 20vt with build agu engine.
I tried few setups on this car and current setup is with a mamba turbo(MAMBA GEN II G25 8+0 3" A/R.70 GTX2871R Ball Bearing Turbocharger). You don't see often mamba turbo, so I decided to share my experience and some logs of mamba turbo:)

I think I use this turbo now for almost 1 year and still runs great, no oil leak or shaft play(pushed many times above 2+ bar).It is a nice upgrade turbo for gtx28 setups, as the turbine wheel has same size. I used this turbo first with a tial .63 a/r and now I am using it with tial .86 a/r housing. After the upgrade I noticed some drop in egt temp and little laggy on lower rpm(lag is rised by 500~rpm). You can see in the logs the difference between the 2 setups(dotted line is .63 ar housing).

Car setup:
- agu engine with 82.5mm bore
- Ie rods+ je 82.5mm pistons(8.5 cr)
- arp headbolts
- agu head with custom adr(J) cams(less overlap)
- rs4 exhaust valve springs
- 980cc bosch injectors
- rs4 maf sensor
- 5120 hack
- stock bam ecu with tune for ron 98 no meth
- mamba turbo with external tial wastegate
