I'm sure this has been asked or explained, I've searching for hours and can't seem to find the answer, so here I go:

Can I write a .bin file from a different ecu part number (HN/LP/PL, etc) onto my ecu which is an RN? I've disabled IMMO, if that matters, and have used nefmoto to write a new tune already, but only using a bare bones RN xdf I found, but the LP/PL have much better xdf's and I can find stock .bin's for those ecu's too, so is there any issue writing over my RN if I back it up, or is that incompatable?

Thank you, even if you just linked a different thread!
