Hello everyone!
I have some experience with standalone systems and tuning but completely new to the world of stock ecu tuning. With lots research and digging for files and software I've almost figured out the process. I'm using a MPPS v22 Clone with tricore adapter to read my EDC17CP24 in boot mode. The plan was to unlock and do further flashing through OBD.
I can't seem to figure out how to unlock it. The unlock symbol doesn't appear in the file utility menu like in the pdf instructions. Is this ecu not compatible or am I doing something wrong?
I've attached some relevant files and pictures. If anyone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome
Put the ecu back in the car and try flashing it, I dont think that needs an unlock to flash. If you cant flash it on the bench turn off the immo then you should be able to flash it
