The Sense Galletto 1260 has become virtually unusable for bootmode flashing or recovering bricked ECUs on modern Windows systems. To provide a more reliable and up-to-date alternative, I’ve developed FlashMate — a custom bootmode flasher designed to effectively replace the outdated Galletto 1260 tool.
FlashMate automatically detects FTDI (FT232RL) cables and allows manual selection of baud rates for improved stability and faster read/write speeds. It includes an integrated help button with clear, step-by-step instructions to guide users through the process. There’s no need for installation; FlashMate runs as a single, standalone executable file.
When you first launch the application, it will generate a license request file based on your system’s hardware ID. Simply send me that file, and I’ll return a license to fully activate FlashMate. OGs, Mods, and Hero Members are eligible for a free license, while others can purchase one for just $5 USD. I’ve put a considerable amount of time into developing FlashMate, and I believe the price is more than reasonable given its capabilities.
Included in the package is also an enhanced version of CheckMate, which supports RSA bypass and fixes the "Programming Not Finished" bug found in some later ME7.5 and ME7.1.1 ECUs. Additionally, a checksum tool is provided, although it is not compatible with ST10-based variants.
If you have any questions, feel free to reply below or send me a direct message. The flasher tools are attached and ready to use.
I got to try this out before he posted it so this post is just to say that it all works and that this is a no brainer purchase. Being able to use the same $20 k+can ftdi cable to flash, log, and bootmode flash is great. My galleto cable will collect dust. Checkmate is the ultimate checksum fixer too since it fixes rsa errors. This guy makes living with my mashed potato brain smooth sailing because of his guis; no more learning how to do hard confusing nerd stuff, just buy the gui for it, don't waste life on computer.
