Hi,
I have an Audi A4 B6 with the 1,8T BFB engine.

A few weeks ago, I installed a large FMIC. Now that the weather has gotten warmer, I’m noticing that during full-throttle runs on the autobahn and on the track, I’m having issues with water temperature.
When I was looking for an upgraded radiator, I was told that the B6 usually doesn’t have any water temperature problems at all.
Has anyone here had any experience with this?
Unfortunately, I can’t modify my bumper here in Shitland Germany, because the car would immediately be taken off the road.
The car is running a normal Stage 1 tune with a 200 cell cat.

On the track recently, at 30°C ambient temperature, I saw 115°C water temp after just 5 minutes.

In my opinion, the problem is not in the intercooler, but the fault occurs under high engine load: dirty radiator, or air conditioning condenser, coolant pump, head gasket, and the like.
