I am in need of the ECU login code for an '03-'04 Euro Audi BEX ECU, B6 A4 Sport, PN 8E0 909 518 AS. The ECU has the Immo defeated for use with a '03 A4 tiptronic. I need to re code the ECU to Auto Box from MT coding. Also need to adapt the stored VIN.

TIA

The Ross-Tech VAG-COM wiki may list the codes you need.

Will this make a difference whether or not the ECU is chipped?

Have a GIAC chipped M box for 2.7TT tiptronic that I cannot seem to recode.  Seems to login ok (no confirmation of it though), but when I type in new code and click recode it doesn't actually change it... any ideas?

I doubt a chipped ECU would change the login codes.

They may have disabled specific ECU coding though.

The login codes are required for logging in before you can recode the ECU.

But, I do not believe you can disable the EGR system simply by recoding the ECU.

ECU coding generally only allows you to change transmission type, instrument cluster type, etc.
