hello ! ever since i ve put a 73mm MAF CAI on my car it s been acting up ! it pulls timming like crazy ! if i go mafless tune the car doesn t pull timing at all,as soon as i put maf back on feels very lazy in high rpm ! first i ve tired to increase KFKHFM but 5% the car pulls better but still pulls timing ! i need some guidance here on tuning this ! KFMLDMX im sure is involved too but i just need some guidance ! i will leave the log here 4th gear till almost 6000 rpm !

Take the kfkhm out of the car where the maf housing was originally installed. Then it will probably be appropriate to fine-tune it.

unforunately i don t have access to that ! where can i start ? i was thinking about making kfkhfm 1.00 all across and go from watching lambda /stft ltft logging ,is it correct to approach like this Dante? thanks in advance

You need to fix MSHFMTPH because ZW maps are based on load. I think your load is complete wrong. Check measured block 32, it needs to be as close to 0% as possible, not +20% etc. Make KFKHFM to 1, Deactivate ltft via NOLRA and log lambda % deviation. Fix MSHFMTPH untill lambda regulation is close to 0%, then you can fix KFKHFM. Calculate new MSHFMTPH values before with your diameter as first step and log then. Or use TTS MAF, but you need to fix it too untill you do not use complete TTS intake etc.

hi,just ran into some trouble ,i rescaled MSHFMTPH with the new 73mm and this is the log ,in my opinion it s very wrong ! at 4900 rpm lambda control start to go nuts 25% ! i logged at idle labda control was 6% lambda adaptation at partial load max -9 % (25% throttle application 2000-3900 rpm ) i have added the 3gear log here showing everything ! hope someone can shed soe light !

Any other weird changes? Or you try to run big turbo with BWA injectors and hit injection time limit? First you need to find a point where everything is working, then change your parts. Install stock MAF, stock power and check again. Or just do not use selfmade MAF housings. Do not make several hardware changes at once if you are not sure how to change it in your file, e.g. standard K04 injectors are no problem, but costum injectors are a problem. You can also fix this in similar way, but you always need a working fix point. You will never fix this with unknown changes in injection and MAF at once.

no so MSHFMMTPH was the problem ! i rescaled again and again and managed to get to a very good point ! and also made the map stock just to make things easier managed to get lambda control at max. 9% and stft partial load max value -2.7 and at idle very good -0.7 my question is now i can start correcting with KFKHFM? it s still on 1.00 all around ! only managed to get this eh log because weather very very bad and car spins tires xD cherry i can t thank you enough for you help ! below is the log with stock ecu map (power) only thing rescaled is MSHFMTPH to new size ! also it s not self made maf housing it s how the CAI came ,btw car is stock ! no big turbos or injectors ! the thing causing that lambda to go crazy was the bad scaling of mr. MSH ! can you take a look at this log? do you see anything wrong with injection time?

so did some tests today.. unfortunately there's a problem ! with a stock map (197ps) and MSHFMTPH rescaled KFKHFM stock nothing else touched thing run great i can say 9-10%(5-6ms injection) values lambda control during a WOT run it s acceptable car follows KFLBTS enrichment table,i did a basic stage 1 nothing too crazy LDRXN max value 180% that shouldn t be trouble for HFPF/LPFP/Injectors at all ,the car goes crazy ! same as before as soon as it hits 4950+ rpm till then lambda control stays 2.3-7.0% (min-max)lambda follows as requested but i saw something injectors stay at 8-9ms all thru out the pull.. which is very strange that s their limit ! rail pressure follow perfectly requested sometimes actual pressure is a bit over requested ! im really sorry but im very stuck.. i will log what fknbrkn mentioned to see ! thank you all ! car threw a P1093 also

There is not injection "time" limiter, it´s angle limiter which result in time. Higher rpm, less time. Check "AWEA" maps with begin and end of injection. You can begin a little earlier to get more time. Check KFWBxxxx maps. Didnt check your file, but i think it´s about 300° @ 5000. If you run out of time lambda regulation will go up but cannot go up injection time.

You can make a little more fuel pressure, in last log pressure request is only 110bar, but 125bar request in deceleration? Maybe some mistake?

At least you forgot KLPRMAX. And NOLRA bit 0 disable add correction only, you need to disable bit 1 for disable mul correction. If you want to improve MSHFMTPH etc, set NOLRA to 3, otherwise you fuck arround with corrections. Maybe i´m wrong if mwb 32 stays 0? But FR says this way and i did it this way in past.
