Tuning help: Lambda oscillations at low load/idle (BAM, 980cc injectors)
« on: March 13, 2026, 06:12:44 AM »
Hi everyone,
I’ve hit a wall tuning my Audi TT (BAM) with a PSR4849 turbo and Bosch 0280158040 (980cc) injectors on a 3-bar FPR. I am experiencing lambda oscillations at low load (idle and low RPM cruise), which also causes slight RPM instability.
I have already calibrated the following:
1. KRKTE (WOT fueling is spot on)
2. TVUB (Idle fueling adjusted)
3. KFFWL (Cold start fueling is okay)
4. FKSTT / FNSSM (Start maps are dialed in)
5. FKKVS (Used FKKVS fixer)
6. KFVAKL / KFBAKL / WFRL (Attempted various wall wetting adjustments)
7. KFLRSG / KFLRSP (Tried decreasing values, but it didn't seem to make any difference)
While WOT, starting, and cold transitions are fine, I cannot get rid of the oscillations. I suspect the issue lies within the wall wetting constants, but being my first time tuning these specific injectors, I haven't been able to stabilize it 100%.
Any advice on what I might be missing or how to further refine the transition at low load?
Thanks for any help.

Try this, unsure why your Lambda tables were 0'd out. but it would make the commanded fueling do weird things not knowing what to command for.

Hi, thanks for the help. These tables are still bone stock. I haven't touched them yet. The BAM strategy uses ATR fueling, not BTS, but I can certainly give it a try
