Interesting. I manual swapped my Audi it has the 4z79551q . I was trying to program a 4z79551s with VCDS genuine which allegedly can be coded to manual but it's not having any of it. I was thinking of trying to read the file and turn the immobilizer off with your software. And use the 4z79551r turn the immobilizer off on that to and flash it back . I'm having no luck with this bootmode stuff.

No direct experience but it sounds as if ME7.1.1 can be particular difficult to get into bootmode.
These might be helpful;

& possibly need to de-solder a resistor from the PCB for some variants;

I tried my luck with using nefmoto ecu flasher logger and I was able to read the me7. 1.1 file which is great news. I think I saw a post somewhere of a manual file for the allroad think it was 4z9551r which should hopefully complete my manual swap and remove the tcu.

Ive no idea how to tell if a file is corrupt or not
