Hi could any of you lovely people confirm if either of the files below are for a manual and would work on the 2004 audi allroad 2.7t which I have done a manual swap on please

Ive tried a 4Z790551R and vcds won't let me code it to manual and I have the genuine cable to.

Kind regards

Yeah thats the USA version for the BEL engine code 2.7, it is cross flasable to the BES IIRC. You will have some codes for evap or sai sense the emissions hardware is not the same. Simple PROKON and ESKONF will take care of that. It still wont change the softcoding of the ecu, the R box is manual and auto variant coding. You will still need to change the soft coding in vcds. Worth noting, if you still have the TCU plugged into the cars network, it will NOT allow you to change the coding to manual as it still sees a auto trans controller on the network.

To update this I've attempted a few times to try and divorce the tcu from the audi using soft coding with vcds. I removed the tcu and tried coding and the car doesn't want to know.

Is there another way of doing this so I can lose the tcu by not replacing the abs module with a manual one?

Done some research and it sounds like a common issue when trying to separate the tcu

Kind regards
