Hello there, i just started getting into tuning my 1.8t b5.5 Passat.
After i succsesfully bricked my ecu writing the first time i decided to get a spare ecu and a boot setup.
I am currently using FlashDock from this forum to try and dissable the immo.
I read the original eeprom off the ecu with the included eeprom suite, it said read was ok, so i put the read out into the also included "NoMoImmo", which showed me tve skc code and patched the immo/checksums.
Then i tried flashing the patched file back to the ecu but got the error "Verify error 0x70101".
After reading the ecu again "nomoimmo" said, that the immo is off, so i thought the writing worked althogh the error code.
But of course in the cluster it still says immo active and the car doesnt stay running.
Can anybody tell me what could be wrong here or should i get a different tool/software for this.
Also tried it with 2 different pc's to be sure.
I attatched both readouts and the patched file

And sorry in advance i am a total noob

Search and read up on error 0x70101, in browser search use search string;

site:nefariousmotorsports.com Verify error 0x70101

when I load the immo off bin into eepromtool, it looks fine though I did need to rename the file to remove empty spaces to be able to read it.
I think you have a problem with the flash write back to EEPROM, need to use boot mode to flash back to do that.

Shoutout to this forum for all this knowlage and programs (i had no clue how to work with cdm before)
