Hey I have a 2001 golf gti 1.8t awd code, the ecu is 06A 906 032 CL so I'm using the 400bb layout as its the narrowband ecu and has the 512kb file, i also put in a 06A 906 032 C with the same results but I'm pretty sure that one would have a read/write lock maybe cause it has a tune. i think its good to note I'm using a ch340 kkl cable but did try a ft232rl k+dcan cable that my buddy had and had the same result I'm gonna try a proper kkl one soon but for now i thought I'd ask if when i get this message i should just wait because I'm guessing it could be sorta like VAG EEPROM programmer on immo2 where it has to search through every hex code but isn't visibly doing it but i just see online i should just cancel operation when it happens. I got a similar message when i perform a write too, i know i shouldn't write before i read the og file but it wasn't working so i tried to see what happens. The full thread received when i perform a full flash read is:

Did you try using 29f400 as layout? I don’t know anything about the background of the vehicle but maybe try also pulling the ECU and using flashdock.exe (a modern galletto alternative made by @nameless_) and you can read the ECU in boot mode. Nefmoto supports boot mode too hope you find success

i'm having a different issue now with all three versions where it crashes everytime it tries to open the file explorer this wasn't an issue before so now i'm pretty confused
its working great now i just had to change to 38400 baud rate but i cant save the file after it completes even the 400bb layout seems to work in the new versions you sent but i just cant save the file now. what could be causing this i unistalled all the latest updates, i have a file selected from when i was having issues and i cant remove it from the bar that shows the .bin name is that what is the issue or what. it doesnt even seem like a crash it just closes when it completes but i suppose its supposed to open the file explorer because i know choose flash file does but now i cant use that either it does the same thing as when it gets to 100 percent just closes the app.

yeah i tried to delete that file last night to see if it would fix the issue with it not opening the file explorer when full read was done, it didnt, so its kinda empty but i didnt perform one full read to show what its says at least.

cant find out how to upload a file so i just copied the ending lines it does this but doesnt open file explorerand before when i would choose a flash file it would open the file explorer and let me choose one now it doesnt. i dont know what changed but something is broken i already tried deleteing the log text cause thats the only file nefmoto has i literally dont know what else to try nothing has changed from when it was working to now other than i downloaded those versions you gave then went back to the 1.6.2 because they werent letting me open the file explorer but now this version does the same thing. it was working and now its not the full read goes fine the app just wont let me choose or save a file what so ever.
