I am now also owning a tiptronic allroad (2001, stage 2).
the tiptronic is a bit lazy for my taste. Since the trans and engine are coming out, I plan to put K04 turbos in with a mild tune (may leave stock intercooler in) and maybe 'beefed up' torque converter.

VAST (when they were still around) offered a tune (in conjunction with TC upgrade) for the trans.
I also had the tranny tuned (increased line pressure, holding gears in manual mode (only low/high rev shifting, but NO kickdown even during WOT so I could use the torque), which served my purpose well.

Has anyone done any tuning of the tranny?
- quicker shifts
- shift points
- gear holding in manual mode

Either here, or links to sources and 'feedback'?
