A Checksum error?  After it was remapped?  Does the car drive?  After you tried to remap it?

More details needed.

Hi there yes the car starts and drives fine, it already had the checksum error before I bought it I only found the error a few months after buying it. So I'm just looking to erase it and hopefully upload a tuned file.

Thanks Glynn

Hello welcome to forum

This check sum error where is stored? On file or inside eeprom?
Also how did you diagnosed of its existence?

hi mate,
the checksum was picked up when the car was scanned but is not eraseable with vag-com.

I think you will have to patch eeprom (or use "virgin" with already disabled checksum dtc) and rewrite it. Then upload original flash file for virgin file to adapt
