Hello all,

I started working on this a few months ago, but progress has stalled to pretty much zero recently.

Attached is an excel file I generated from an RS6 A2L file found on here that didnt really line up 100% with any of the RS6 binaries I had available. The excel file contains what I think to be symbol names with hex offsets between the A2L location and the real binary location.

I had hoped to put together an app to re-generate the A2L file with the correct excel derived locations, but work unfortunately gets in the way consistently at the moment.

My long term goal is still to tune my RS6 myself, but probably not in the next few months. I hope this is of use to someone in the mean time Smiley

Here's a link to the binary

Smiley

I'm going to start working on axis definitions now - i can probably find most maps in the 367724 software now, but so far havn't done anything on axis definitions in the binary. This will need a bit of coding work to generate a CSV file from the A2L, that I can then use to start aligning things.

once i've got an offset table in excel for the maps and axis, i will write these back into the A2L. At that point, we should have something pretty good to work with!

Will keep you posted on progress Wink

What is interesting for me, is that at least in 558B, BTS seems not to be used at all.

Maybe I am missing something, but I disassembled the binary and confirmed that KFLBTS is at 0x19611.
Yet the values in that map are all 1.5 and 1...

Same for the RS6 Plus 558F file.

The only fueling seems to come from LAMFA, which is set to 0.9 at WOT.
Plus of course the EGT shutdown...
It seems the RS6 has a target EGT MAP for each bank, but the target is flatlined at 950C.

For this, I can do you beer by mail order... If we meet, hard liquor and a handshake will be required Wink

I havn't had a chance to look properly at this yet, but will do tomorrow night. I also have all the axis definitions correctly identified too, so progress is being made on my end as well.

Cheers!
