Hello everyone,

I have a Seat Ibiza 1.8T with AQX engine. My ECU is ME7.5, and I will upload a photo of ECU.

I have been trying to use the NefMoto software to download the map. But when it gets to 6% it blocks. I chose the 29F800BB, because when I try 29F400BB says that it appears to be a wrong Layout.

Can someone help please?

I will upload the log as well as an ECU photo.

Cheers

Can someone please help?

I have tried different Baud Rates as well as Layouts and nothing. Download crashes bellow 10%... plus the program keeps on disconnecting.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Thanks

Your ecu memory layout is 29F400BB. Probably can see it also by choosing Read ECU info with 52800 baud rate.
Set baud rate after connection to 52800 and then try to Full read flash with the above layout selected.

After those wrong tries you have made, perhaps you wont be able to read it this way so you have to try bootmode.
If you are not sure on what you are doing read as many threads you can before bricking your ecu.

Dammit ignorance is a bitch... May this error serve for future searches. (btw: the car is runing OK, guess I'm just lucky)

I did read a few threads, and the "conclusion" I got to was that my ECU would be read with 29F400BB layout, if not, 29F800BB. But when selected 29F400BB in the program and ok, it showed a warning saying that the layout appeared to be wrong, and asked if I wanned to continue. I said no and tried with 29F800BB without warning.... or sucess.

I will be trying with the 52800 baud rate soon and will tell here what happened. Thanks a lot for the response professor (and sorry for the mess I guess :S)

Yes it shows that error but in my case i press ok and it read it ok.

But i had the backup if something goes wrong to go with bootmode.

Yeah, today I tried again with 52800 baud rate, and the 29F400BB memory layout and couldn't download. Happened the same thing: when arrived to 6% the download crashed.

Guess only with the boot mode now :s

Try running a direct K-Line and bypassing the cluster.

And can you explain how to do that, or point me in the direction where I can find out? Thanks

Remove cluster's fuse.
That's not even nearly the same as what I said...

sorry for digging this here out but i have the same Problem with the same engine

im using a VAG KKL 409.1 Cable.
I'm no Native Speaker so i dont understand what you mean with bypassing the cluster by removing the cluster's fuse.
Where can I find that "Cluster's Fuse"

Step 1: copy your mailadress
Step 2: pasting your mailadress to facebook
Step 3: your from germany so you speak german
Step 4: translate.google.com or dict.leo.org
Step 5: "Sicherung des Tachos ziehen"

Thats what they suppose to say by "pull the dash fuse" or pull the cluster fuse"  Roll Eyes

Is there a other option than doing it with boot mode?
