Trying to sort out an issue where I'm hearing backfires between shifts.  Sometimes they're pretty violent.  It generally occurs during part throttle driving.  It seldom happens after WOT pulls.

The hardware:
1000cc EV14 injectors
TT225 MAF (using TT225 MLHFM)
Bosch 044 pump
GT3071

My STFT and LTFT are good.  -0.5% and -1.5% respectively.

After looking through my logs, it's clear that the O2 bottoms out its signal.  What can I do to correct this?  Should I be looking at FKKVS/KFKHFM? (They're both all 1's, currently).

1. Have you set TEMIN?
2. Are you using a recirculating dump valve?

My TEMIN value is currently 0.6107.   This was lowered from the stock value of 0.7494 when I first started this stage 3 tune.

I forget how I calculated the above value, but I found a discussion on this forum that suggests the following:
[new injector flow] / [Stock Flow] = X
TEMIN / X = New TEMIN

In this case, my TEMIN calculation should be:
1000 / 386 = 2.5906
0.7494 / 2.5906 = 0.2892

So it seems I was way off here.  Let me try with a correct TEMIN and get back to you.  Thanks for pointing this out.

I ve solve similar case by lowering a bit coil dwell time.
Same for NLS if someones thinks that flat shift booms are too much for his tastes.

Thank guys.  Dropped TEMIN to 0.2892 and it seems to have taken care of it.

I have similar setup, ev14 96#, E85 but my temin is already 0.1ms and it still pops at the exhaust sometimes when on overrun after WOT or even half throttle? The injectors should be closed by then so is it a leaking injector?
