hello,

I woud like to play around with my Magneto Marelli 4MV ECU. What is the best way to flash it?

036906034BH

Take out Flash or is OBD flash possible? Which tool would be the best?

Hi. I have the same ecu on my Vw mk4 1.6AZD, marelli iaw 4mv. I have Fg-Tech galleto flasher 3 and won't read it

the best and safest way for these ecus to read and write is desoldering and programmer.although there are some tools like kess,byteshooter,genious,magpro,etc...i think could do them via obd(i haven't tried them).

Read it with FGtach. It takes 30 min for reading and 2 min for writing.

I am still not able to find cable ans sw to read ecu 036 906 034 DR MARELLI 4MV. Sad

Could you please advise if Bosh ECU available for BCB engine Golf IV which can be installed instead of unreadable Marelli? Huh

4MV is readable with Fgtech original and Genius via OBD . On the bench you have to deactivate IMMO (or short it ) to work.

Read is Full , write is not . Becareful for swap lines and I would also recomend to desolder
