I've got my major maps defined; KFMIOP KFMIRL LAMBDA Protection ETC...
Can't seem to find LDRXN, Am I correct that it should be 16x6 at 16bit factored 0.023438?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Awesome thank you for the guidance Most Me7.5 files I have tuned for other manufacturers were 16x6 so naturally suspected this to be same for VW... too much assuming! It appears LDRXN in this file is at 1F076 and the LDRXN for knock is 1F0B8 so I'm good to go!

Is there a real need to adjust the knock LDRXN?
My thought is to adjust it so that it's ~1psi lower then LDRXN to mimic factory setup.....

Personally I would leave it alone, as if you pull so much timing that it switches to LDRXNZK something is very wrong and it is a good idea to cut the boost.

That makes a lot of sense to me, I wasn't sure what most folks were doing or how quickly the ECU reverts to LDRXNZK when detonation is picked up. I'd prefer to be safe than sorry!

I love how everyone always talks about LDRXNZK, but never about the conditions that activate it.
LDRXNZK is never active in the files that I have looked at.
B_kfzk controls the switch from LDRXN to LDRXNZK and it is only set if CNOKT.0 is set and KFSWKFZK < wkrma.

Thanks for the input, I'm working my way through the functionrahmen a system at a time so I've got more reading to do but starting to put the bigger picture together as I go along....

LDRXNZK is never active in the files that I have looked at. CNOKT is set to 1 in plenty of 1.8T files. Do you disagree with something I said?

Nope, I started typing that before you posted. I was basically saying the same thing as well, that no one seems to care how it actually works.

Maybe a guide to help better understand it would be useful unless something like that already exists.... I'm still learning as I go but I'm happy to learn from others as I also share what I know
