car run fine,but yesterday it won´t start...
vcds write this: 16985/P0601/001537 - Internal Control Module: Memory Check Sum Error
error was not clear, I flash original file,and then error clear,but car won´t start...I have 1,8T with tuned file with LC and NLS..I flash eeprom too,but anyway car wont start...where is problem?

This is caused by a flag set in the eeprom due to previously bad flash checksum. Rewriting ori eeprom should fix it...

It has nothing to do with immo. Either the flash is physically corrupt (or other part of ECU) - or you recently flashed a file with bad check sum.
But if you have written both original flash and original eeprom, then i would guess the ECU is bad. Post eeprom and I'll check if flag is set.

But if you have written both original flash and original eeprom, then i would guess the ECU is bad. Post eeprom and I'll check if flag is set.

Flag is not set, so that part is ok anyway. I don't know what else can trigger this fault. Ross-tech suggests low battery voltage could be part of the problem but that sounds like a long shot...

Do you have a spare ME7? Program flash and eeprom into that one, read diagnostics and see if the same problem still occurs. If it doesn't i bet your ecu is toast.

I have two ecu...with the first ecu has the same problem a week agoI gave the second ecu and car run,but yesterday problem is repeated..I dont understand where the problem,two ecu are corrupted same

Wait a minute  The eeprom you posted must be read out from the ecu after it stopped working! Did you do that? Send me flash and eeprom readout (from non-working ecu) and I will correct checksum flag (if set) and flash checksum (if wrong). Attach it here or via pm if you wish. |

car wont start...when I flash orig file,or for example I flash orig from S3 or another 1,8T car start...but when I copy maps from tuned file into orig,car wont start,checksum is ok,I flash in boot mode with galletto without any problems |
