Has anyone looked larger throttle body's? Just wondered if there is any work that needs doing other than maximum airflow across throttle??

Not found many mentions of it on here, nor have the throttle body yet to experiment with as my friend is considering ordering one.

You are on the right track.  9 times out of 10 I play with these three maps for a throttle body change...

KFMSNWDK - Normalized mass flow over Throttle Plate
KFWDKSMX - Maximum desired throttle plate angle
KFWDKMSN - Map for desired throttle plate angle
