I'm pretty sure that it's just the threshold for knock detection.

there shouldnt be a need to modify anything in there, I see the file that was on my car had changes made to these maps.

I have an OTS tune from a major company and these maps were changed as well. They are fairly conservative stock, but what maps aren't. If you want to adjust knock control, I think the consensus is to adjust how much timing is pulled per knock event detected.

The values were lowered, so lets say at 3200rpm/45 the value was 3.3750 stock, in the file that was on my car it was 3.000
