Hello,

I am interested in different options for mapsitching of 2 maps. We are talking about a ME7.5 with 29F400-Flash. What kind of modifications are possible? Is it possile to trigger that switching with an external electrical signal?

Does the ECU have any unused I/Os ?

Kind regards,
Yogi

Prior to your "how is it done" question i would like to know:

Is there enough room for a second mapping on a 29F400?

If you don't have cruise fitted you can use that. Take a cruise stalk, strip it down , wire it down and then use the switches to trigger your map switching .

Already one written and on here! It has kfzw and krte in it as well but that can be stripped out. It controls the boost via ldrxn so load based.

Back in the old days with EPROMS you could use a double size EPROM and a switch on the high address pin! I presume you could do the same with the newer flash EEPROMS? Would mean the whole 512k could be swaps on the fly?

i found it.. after writting my post Smiley  it is written for 2.7bit , but probably would work with 1.8t i suppose ?

littco what about als/nls ? it is possible to switch off als/nls with this routine ? because i add to my file als/nls but in normal driving i don't use it , and would be nice to switch off this things Smiley
