Hi Guys,

I use cable with FTDI chipset and NefMoto Flasher but when I try to read flash from me stock ME7.5 ECU (bench reading) I faced with the bellow error:

05.апр.2013 12:49:24.601: LOG: Failed to send message 3 times, message send failed.
05.апр.2013 12:49:24.611: USER: Disconnecting because no response was received for the Tester Present message.

I used 29F800 memory layout as well.

Could someone advise I can read flash with this cable and the software? If yes, what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks in advance!

Detailed log attached.

Is your key set to ignition?
Yes, ignition was switched on.
I use Galleto now for these actions.

As far as I understood fast init is commercial feature so I used slow. I have Skoda 1U RS.

Now I'm using MPPS loader. Also I found that my USB cable wasn't working properly. Check this one.

To work properly you can use voltage 10V.

Doubt that. My voltage dropped to flat 12v and I got an error during flash. Bumped it up a little and reflashed with out an error. Well I never tried at 10v so I wouldn't know.

Battery voltage needs to be maintained @ 12-14 volts while flashing.

When I flashing my ECU on brach I use old battery from UPS with about 11V. And I hadn't any errors only warning about low voltage.
