Hi guys
My car is manual passat 1.8T AWT engine (ME7.5 4B0 906 018DH)
I have another spare Ecu (ME7.5 4B0 906 018DH) but that has been removed from automatic transmission AWT engine.  I want to use this ecu with my OEM ecu.

What should I do for this ecu swap ? The ecu hasn't IMMO. is it enough for that ? or Does it  need to change to another?

Thanks.

Flash a manual transmission file to the ecu and recode it for a manual. Then install.

I didn't read thoroughly, I apologize. Didn't realize both had the same vag number. Just use VCDS or vag-com to change the softcoding to manual.

It should be as simple as changing the 2nd to last digit from a 5 to a 1.
