Did you read the thread in the reverse engineering forum? You have to search for a string from the end of the file backwards. First result is the location of the call.

Yes, also the implementation of launch control thread.

"Now to locate the correct routine and call the new function: in your hex editor, go to the end of file and search upwards for: "D7 40 06 02 03 F8" and you should be in the right place."
