I used another "healthy" REVO e2p which I did Immo off and it worked , BUT
I recommend to just get rid of REVO.

I really hate that they interfare with e2p ,even with their demos.
Also a factory "update" or "reprogrammin" via VAS will not solve the e2p problem.
Only the REVO dealers ,which at least here they charge

"nothing surprises me with revo these days lol"

You do realize that the issue here is that the OP tried to read out the software with a tool that MODIFIES the EEprom? How the hell is that Revo's fault?

Revo messes with e2p. That is the problem. When working at the local SEAT dealers (that for quite some time it was also a REVO dealer) we had problems updating 1.4 16V BBZ and a lot of 20vt engines that where REVO`ed.

Also ,the DEMO was advertised as such : You have a stage 1 for 8 hours and then you have a completely stock car.
WRONG! It was still modified (ofcourse..) with messed up LDRXN probably maps that was even weaker than the ori file and still
messed with e2p (counter) . It was a pain in the ass for the dealers .
Back then you had 2 options ,try (and be lucky) and do a stock "update" to the same or newer version OR pay REVO for a stage 1...
