Hi guys, My name is salvador and i new in ths forum , i hope to contribute with my knowledge and you can help me with my doubts.

i have some questions about KFNWSE map of Me 7, i have a seat leon cupra mk1 . I am reading in vwvortex about the people that has Maestro 7 , that guys are tuning Cam timing map to make spool up more fast the turbo .

KFNWSE is the cam timing map of maesto 7?

some body tested it?

**Cam Timing** {WNWUE?}
X Axis = Actual load % Y Axis = RPM Cell Values = Camshaft Advancement degrees

Description: Controls the relative position of the camshaft. The camshaft is only controllable in 2 fixed postions 0 deg no advancement and 22 deg advancement. This can make a huge differrence in spoolup and off boost power depending on your setup. Timing maps as well as air/fuel ratio can play a large roll in spoolup. During the switchover point the ECU will interpolate timing values from both optimum timing maps.

This map seems that controls the vvt selenoid , of the 1.8t  camshafts . I don't know but i think tha people has improvement because to take control of the overlap of the camshaft  especially in the intake camshaft.

Some companys in the red offer new stages tunes with this improvement '' vvt control''.

It's been covered on here before, there's been testing etc. have a search and your probably find what you're looking for.

The bigger the turbo the more benefit you'll get from it.

i play with k03s but was worse than on stock without VVT enable. it is probably to small turbo.

but KFNWSE is the right map for disable and enable vvt?

CDNWS is the codeword for enable/disable of NWS.

What should  I change to enable VVT ? To do some tests with it ?

Another question:
Did you have positiv effects on small turbo like k03s ?
I know the know how and time cost Smiley so i don't asking about giving me answer how to adjust KFNWSE /KFZW2 but i ask You- is vvt give some positive effects in 1.8t with k03s , more mid torque or etc ?

VVT is useless on k03/k04

So why 1.8T BAM engine with k04 use VVT in stock ? 1240 - 4000rpm kfnwse switch vvt.
Also driving BAM gives feeling that you are driving 2.0 N/A in lower parts rpm.
