looking for opinions on which way to go as far as tuning for a new MAF.
The application is for a VW GTI AWP 1.8t with HSbox and 5spd manual

I have converted over to a k04-022 turbo setup and purchased a TIP for a BEA 1.8t Audi TT Quattro and like MAF.

Should I use the old sensor and scale the maps for the larger housing or just copy over all the MAF maps from a .bin that is for a BEA 1.8T and be done with it as far as a base?
If I can't find the right .bin,( haven't yet..) I understand that this particular MAF is used on the RS6 and some of the 1.9TDI engines. so I should be able to collect the map's values out of one of those .bins?

First off though, which is the better method?

Thanks for your insights,

When I put my TT225 MAF in I simply copied the mlhfm from the TT225 file and used my stock AWM sensor inside the TT225 housing.

What does the housing look like? Does it have a tube that runs through the housing that the sensor sticks into? mine does
