So i have been trying to stop my car from cutting out during overboost. I understand that raising KFDLULS would raise the overboost protection limit.

I have tried FFing the whole table as I have seen posted. I have tried multiplying the whole table by as little at 1.1.

When I write this back to the ECU, the car will start fine. But, once I shut the car off,it will not restart.

Any ideas on why it will not restart?

Is there a better method to raising the upper boost limit, than multiplying the whole table?

Thanks

Maybe I am not doing something right. I am pretty new to this, but have reading, and reading for weeks.

I changed the values in the tables in tunerpro and saved them. I used the nef moto software to write it back. I thought it checked the checksums.

Am I missing a step? Is there something else I need to do to update the checksums before writing back to the ECU.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully I learn how to get though these initial steps so that I can start the vicious cycle of data logging and tuning.

there is a checksum plugin for tunerpro that costs 10 euro. totally worth it... once you get the plugin downloaded then you have to order the license which is when you pay via paypal.  make sure you read the readme doc.

then when you save your file in tunerpro it will automatically update the checksums.
