This is the official Bosch documentation for the ME 7.1.

It's in German, but it is a text PDF, so you can select the text and translate it.

I am hoping I don't get assassinated or black listed for sharing this.

Most people already have this document and privately share it anyway. Not to mention that we may as well all have a standard to refer to, instead of making vague references to pieces of the some magic document.
many thanks mate!

Hello guys,

thank you very much for this FDEF.

Together with the MED9 FDEF you have a very good documentation of the ecu's.

Unfortunately, I don't find often specific maps described in this document, but I find them in the wiki in the MED9 abbreviations.

For example:
I wanted to see the function of the dump valve diagnosis on ME7.9.10.
I see there is a measuring time TMDSUVR.
If I look in the MED9 document found in this forum and on this document, that map is not described.
But on the wiki on this page I found it on MED9 abbreviations.

Are there some more doc's like this around?
I would be very thankful for any hint.

Best regards

I don't see how it matters how someone came into this file.  It has been floating around the internet for sometime now.

As for you knowing everything about this, good then I hope to see you posting and helping out in this forum Smiley

Anyone has BBKHZ full diagrams (i mean for turbo applications)? The one that we have from Alfa 2.0l BTS is for naturally aspired engines and doesn't have all the maps needed to completely understand this function...

Is anyone could have the same doc for the older Motronic M1.5.5. this look close, but without the wired accelerator pedal ?

thanks your advices.
