b5 vr6 questions
« on: June 12, 2013, 04:31:00 PM »
I am looking at buying/trading a vr6 from my neighbor he has been having trouble with. I pulled these codes with my vcds. So I have some ?'s
1.) Are the coil packs & injectors interchangeable from my b5 s4? 2.7t?
2.) if yes, judging by the codes listed below would this be a somewhat easy fix to get running right.
3.) the problems he is having sounds to me like injectors and or coils even before I saw the novel of codes posted.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS.

Its inside the car, its the fuelpump relay, but the misfire codes were not caused by that, the car most likely needs a coilpack,
they crack and then miss under high loads or when wet. Oh and no the 2.7 coil will not work.

well the guy replaced the fuel pump, main relay, crankshaft position sensor, plugs & coil packs. We cleared codes, none came up but man this thing has no power at all you can just feel the sluggishness of it. It's a 3.0 vr6 so it should have a little giddy up.

It's a 3.0? Has it ever ran good since it was put together?
