Hey guys I see most tuners are using 85mm ID mafs or larger for B5 S4 stage 3 cars.Just wondering if anyone out there is using a stock rs4  maf sensor and housing on a stage 3 car??I believe stock rs4 maf has 83mm ID.Just wondering if anyone is using this to keep a stock oem look???

I am. However I used a 85mm 034 Hitachi MAF before. And most of the RS4 guys here use an RS4 MAF Wink

So most of you that are running stage 3 cars with rs4 mafs are you also running stock maf tables and scalars from the g box from a stock rs4???or no???

The RS4 has a sensor that is capable of reading much higher airflow than a S4 sensor in the same diameter housing.

And reverse flow as well.

The initial reason I went with the RS4 MAF was that I have a bosch car. I ended up buying a 4.2 a6 airbox (RS4 MAF fits right in it, looks factory) and RS4 MAF. A known transfer sheet makes me happy.

Does the a6 airbox top have the output stage cooling plate??I am looking for one.

I run the RS4 MAF as well.  Came with my APR kit, so I might as well use it.  As mentioned before, it's nice to have known specs.

Can you also provide the part number of the airbox "top" part?

Note that the RS4 MAF was also installed in other vehicles so if you search for the part number itself you can buy it like 3-4 times cheaper:

Anyone have specs of their setup?I purchased a ecu with a epl tune Mbox now i wondering if I can modify necessary parts of it to run a rs4 Maf and air box top.
