Hi!

I took some logs on my S3 AMK engine and the max MAF value I see is 170 g/s. The only problem I can spot in the logs is that on higher revs the actual boost does not meet the requested and WGDC is 95%

Can anybody confirm that I need to adjust the actuator?

The 3th gear WOT log starts at line 338  or at 20.867 seconds.

Thanks!

What makes you think your turbo can make more than 15psi at redline? The graph below is an APX TT225.

Hi!

This APX log looks really good comparing to mine.  The max requested is 16 PSI at redline, but I don't reach this level and also there is a big spike and then the boost goes lower than requested.
How would the MAF reading increase without increasing boost?

Regards!

Yes. you are requesting too much boost.

Your rpms are increasing faster than your boost is dropping.

Hi!

I agree with you, the rpm is increasing faster than the boost is dropping, but my MAF max reading is 170g/s, how can the airflow increase to 190 ~ 200 g/s?  I guess this is possible by increasing the boost a little bit at high rpm, am I right?

You're obsessing over the wrong problem.

What did you gather from dd's response?

Hi!

So, from what I understand is that this turbo can't make more than 15 PSI at redline 6800 rpm. From the APX graph I see it does 15 PSI at 6500. Why is this the maximum pressure for a K04-023? By looking at the compressor map and to my current flow 170 g/s measured by MAF, 190g/s calculated by ECUxPlot,  I see that the flow in cubic meter per second is 0.158, so with almost 2 the compressor ratio I can still raise the boost and I don't go outside the map, but as I can see in the logs the requested boost is not meet. Did I hit the turbo limit? Or this is just the actuator that needs some adjustment?

Regards!
