I know that some 1.8t owners swap stock vvt to hydraulic vvt. So it shows DTC.

Tell me please I'm I right that for correct swapping (I dont mean only DTC) I should set CDNWS to 0 (from 2)? Or I should change something else?

Thanx!

You need to set CDNWS=0, and set the proper bit pairs in ESKONF. It's covered in the s4 wiki.

Thank you very much, ddillenger!

But one thing... I'm not 100% sure that NWS is the last bit pair. I'm not sure about last 4 bites at all, cause they are not the same from file to file according to functionshramen.

Is it ok if I wont change ESKONF and will change only CDNWS and DTC (CLANWS?)?
