I am running a few problems on my 8E0 1.8T , would you please help me !!!!

1.  I am getting timing pulled at least -8 degree at different range of RPM  , I would like to know if it is weather knock voltage being too high result in timing reduce or it is something else ( air temp vs timing? the reason I bough this up because  the temperature get hotter the car have no power )  I don't have the Air Temp vs Timing map ...can someone help me find the map?

2.  Seem like I have a map out of boundary cause my ECU to shut off at high RPM while driving, are there anyway I can search for it?

Thank you in advance !

Need a proper log of just a run in 3rd gear low RPM to redline so can see a good idea whats happening.

Looks rich though.... AFR 9-10 at times and actual boost seems a long way over specified.

Yes sir, I will do that. yeah I should lean it out a bit.  I am using a manual boost controller right now so it is not following the PID controller. Thank you again.

From the wiki.

 IAT effect on requested boost

ME7.1 will adjust the specified load limit depending on IATs. As IAT's go up, ME7.1 brings the max boost up a bit so that the driver can't tell that the car is slow in hot weather. It can do this because the stock boost curve is relatively conservative, and there is plenty of headroom. Also, at some point, if IATs go high enough, max specified load is pulled to prevent knock.

KFTARX - IAT correction for maximum specified load

However, if you are running a lot of boost, and always want maximum performance, there is no point in increasing boost when it is hot, let alone reducing boost when it is cold. Also, as IATs rise, even with a perfectly flat KFTARX and LDIATA (see below), you will see more requested boost because the ECU knows that a higher P/R is required for a given cylinder fill (PV=nRT for you thermodynamics nerds out there). It is unknown if there is a table for that calculation. To compensate, you may want to taper KFTARX across the board as IATs rise to keep your requested boost sane. In particular, be aware that the maximum requested boost is slightly above the maximum MAP reading. Readers who understand PIDs should recognize that really bad things happen when the measured output cannot reach the setpoint...

Thank you for this valuable information. I studied it and realized it pulled alot of timing when IAT is very high. Correct, I am looking for the KFTARX for my 8E0 bin file which I don't have on my XDF file.

26C78 is KFTARX, right underneath KFLDHBN.

is it suppose to be 10x12 16 bit map with 0.0000031 factor? for bot KFTARX and KFTARXZF

is that suppose to be Air Temp vs. RPM ?

In the 032 HJ file Im looking at the maps are 12x8 with rpm and IAT temp as the axis.  0.000031 is the factor offset.

I dial in the Map address 16 bit 12x8 ( 0.000031 factor )and the map doesn't' really look linear ( I haven't' define x and y axis yet)
