Hi there! I know most of you guys donĀ“t light newbies with new topics, but believe me, I can't make any progress for 2 weeks now, I read 99% of the connection problems topics here, and can't figure out what's going on.

Here's my log... tried 2 RT cables (from those I only got CANT READ TEST ECHO, VCDS worked fine, always dumb mode), then this Blue Ebay one with FT232R, I got a little further.

Tried deleting all drivers (set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1 trick), installing generic ones, then most recent ones from WHQL (2.08.30), tried Nefmoto 1.8.something and 1.9.3.2... tried slow/fast init, latency 2ms, all bauds.

Well I get this:

Just one more info, my ECU has already been modified by the previous owner, could be that it is protected from reading?
