Hi Guys;
I'm trying read flash from Ibiza Cupra '02  me7.5 6K0906032 AQX, but i have problem. I use VAG KKL on FTDI. Nefmoto conected with ECU in KWP 2000 baudrate 52800 Fast Init, read Ecu Info sucesfully. But when i chose memory layout (29f400BB) and push button,, Full Flash Ecu" I saw it (screenshot).

Is possible that tuner secured ECU against flash read via OBD???

Look at the calibration data. It's a tuned file, I'd bet it's protected.

You're right ddillenger File is tuned. No cat, evap, sai, rear O2 etc...aaa and  no immo.
Now I swap turbo from S3 and would like change a few things. Is any way (via OBD, because i dont have programmer) to read a secured ECU? Maybe Boot Mode?
Regards Grin

Hello there!

I just tryied to full read my ECU with NefMoto VW Audi ME7 Flasher Logger 1.9.3.2 but I am getting:

10/Dec/2013 12:25:04.254: LOG: Sent message with service ID RequestUpload
10/Dec/2013 12:25:04.264: LOG: Received message with service ID: NegativeResponse
10/Dec/2013 12:25:04.279: LOG: Received negative response for service ID: RequestUpload, with response code: ServiceNotSupported
10/Dec/2013 12:25:04.288: USER: Validation failed, ECU reports RequestUpload service is not supported. RequestUpload may have been disabled by aftermarket engine software.

Does this means I won't be able to extract my bin file not even with boot mode?

will try it later today....

Well I mean the chip isn't removable.  I tried to do the boot mode procedure but no luck.
Since I don't have a bench harness I did it while connected to the car! Any way did not work galleto said BOOT MODE INACTIVE

What I didn't do was to unplug battery before grounding pin don't know if that make a difference?

You need to leave ignition on and disconnect battery.  Then connect battery power while you are grounding the pin.  The ECU still has power even with the ignition off.
