And know which file I should go about searching for values in?

After the TDI 6th gear cruise is no longer operable in 6th, this is in an S6 running the 559E euro file with an 01E conversion.

Great, that should help get this started. You're sure that is a manual trans file I presume?

Don't really know for sure, but it should be a manual yes. However if it's not, you can go on ebay.de and search for "Audi 2.5 TDI quattro ECU" or "Audi 2.5 TDI quattro Motorsteuergerät" and you will see many ECUs that might fit as well. There were at least two TDI 01E transmissions however i don't know if the ratios are different for 6th.

Let google translate handle it for ya:

If all else fails I can give you a new part number tomorrow morning because I have a manual 2.5 TDI ecu sitting in the garage.

Hei

Are you solve this problem

I have the same problem with my golf 4 1.8t, i change my gearbox final drive 4,25 to 3,666.
After that if i driving with 5th gear the cruise is not working. At speed 100km/h the engine speed is now 2200 rpm, before was 2700rpm.

I was find:In my ecu 06a906032hn, the value NGANGMIN - 400rpm. But in golf R32 v6 it was 500rpm.

I'l will change this value and tray it out tomorrow, maybe i solve this problem.

If you can anderstand german:

FB BBGANG 14.50 Funktionsbeschreibung

So you increased the value in order to compensate for the lower gear?

You don't need any other files, what you need is just log nvquot_w from the ECU in each gear and set the boundaries correctly.
