Hi is the max load in LDRXN the same load that is used as X axis in KFMIOP ?

If I have a max load in LDRXN of eg. 150 - does that mean the values above 150 on the x-axis in KFMIOP is not used?

Also, the absolute load values that I can log via OBD - do they correspond to the load values seen in the file?

Ldrxn is max load permitted  at WOT

Load axis in kfmiop is the load seen/read by the Ecu

What you log is what is being seen based on maf .. The file load values are reference points..

I'm pretty sure LDRXN is just max load at any throttle position, not just WOT

LDRXN is requested load cap. If your car has hardware problems or is tuned incorrectly then yes, actual can exceed requested.

So on a bog standard car I should not be able to log higher load, unless there is a hardware error?

No. You won't be able to request more load.

requested load != actual load.

I think we are misunderstanding eachother. I'll try to tell at bit mor eabout the background.

I have bought a used car from a dealership. The car drives "funny" and I had a suspicion that the car was remapped. I got it on the rollers and it made 205BHp and 265Nm where it should have 180BHp and 230Nm. Now The dealership where I bought it said that they wanted another dealer to check if it was remapped.

After having the car for some hours they called me: "Yes, you are right it has been remapped. There is a box on the OBD plug - it's a chip"..
Well that "chip" was my ELM327 BT adapter.. After telling them that it had nothing to do with it - they tried once more. After af ew hours again, they called me back telling me it was not remapped since the software version was the one as they expected.. Now this IMHO is a load os bs since the software version will alwas be the same - unless some muppet remaps it.

So i started logging some data with the ELM327, and i got some interesting results.

1) max logged boost was 1.2bars, it should be 0.8bars
2) max logged load was 188, where I'd expect it to be 150 (like the limit set in LDRXN)
3) Lowest Lambda was around 9:1, where I'd expect it to be a bit higher (around 10.5:1)

Now the AFR could be due to knock or EGt temps - but the max load and the boost? I'd say it has been remapped.

I do not have access to a flasher that will read this car, so I cannot read the file and compare it to an ori. :/

Again, you are logging the wrong things.

You should be logging requested boost and requested load.

You could easily be overboosting on a bone stock ECU if there are other issues with the car.

Ahh, now I get it.

I'll try and see if I can log those values.

you are logging Lambda , Boost(?) and Load via ELM BT ?
"IF" the numbers are correct yes its remmaped indeed.

The software version and code can be the same and still the car be remapped. It is up to the remapper if
he would change it ,puting a company name for example
