When installing different throttle body and/or bigger intake manifold these have to be tuned(amongst several other maps), but what is the right way to tune them?

-the values of KFMSNWDK are kg/hr so do i just log the kg/hr from the maf at all the pedal positions vs rpm and fill in the results?

-i also have an r32 throttle body,is it ok to take the KFWDKMSN of the r32 file? or do i have to manually do it like mentioned before?

Also they are inverse,in which way inverse?

I'm just about to do the same thing, I've got an r32 map to copy the throttle maps over, once I've seen what it's like on the current map..

after reading some more i noticed i substituded KLAF for KFMSNWDK .. Roll Eyes

Do you have KFMSNWDK from a R32? Would be great if your willing to share it with me Grin

I wouldn't start with R32 values. Been my experience that doing this has always made for more work.

What kind of mork work? the values were way off?
hmm..what would be the next best thing ?..log the kg/hr values at the various rpm and throttle position ? or multiply the values by the increase in diameter(throttle plate)

im really a noob with these maps

Log measured airflow, as well as calculated airflow over the throttle plate. Then adjust until it lines up. It's easier than it sounds, might take 2 or 3 flashes to get it perfect.

Alpha-N is not KLAF. But yes, log measured airflow and throttle plate and massage KFMSNWDK and WDKMSN maps to suit. Winlogger helps out nicely here

Im using Eurodyne Maestro so its sometimes difficult to figure out the naming. Thank you for that clarification. That program also does have a very nice feature that Im guessing is similar to Winlogger, which makes it very easy to match logs up with certain maps.

I've revised it once and DSG shifts are a lot less jerky. Im just hesitant to map the exact numbers Im reading on my logs because theres such a big difference from the "base file".
