I need to know if CL ecu is compatible in AWP HS ecu car.

I know HS and DL are wideband ecu's but what about the CL ecu.

Can I simply drop HS tune in, with immo off ?

plug and play or not ?

As far as I know it should work fine. The CL is another AWW ecu, right?

CL is narrowband ME7.5, 512kb file.

HS is wideband ME7.5, 1024kb file.

i've personally cross flashed HS -> DL, HN -> DL, DM -> DL, DL->DM.  I've also read that all wideband me7.5 of a similar family will be fine.  I've defientely read that rthe 2.0 (non turbo) ecu (as long as its 1024 flash) will cross-flash and run the car fine.  Definitely seems auto/manual/6spd makes no difference.

Auto very much makes a difference.
5/6 speed is usually just coding on these.

Flashing the 2.0 ECU with 1.8 software will result in an ecu with no boost control. The hardware for the N75 isn't present.

Maybe i wasn't clear in the way i said that... I am currently running an auto ECU with manual software.  Seems to make no difference.  I've done the same thing with a 512kb 12v VR6 ecu in the past as well.

I thought the same thing, but i definitely recall someone saying they ran 1.8t software on a 2.0 ECU with no problem and boost control worked.  Maybe they just got lucky, idk...

And maybe I wasn't clear either - I know for a fact it won't work properly.
But sure, it will start.

Most likely you are not running auto software, as you would instantly have lots of codes+limp in ME7 if you tried that.
