So to start off I normally use mpps to flash threw obd and galletto 1260 for recovery or for me7.1. well I went to use my galletto cable today and no mater what...BOOT MODE INACTIVE. I disassembled my galletto cable to find nothing visibly wrong. After playing around the cable for a bit I found that if i push down hard on the obd plug end it will connect... this leads me to believe that one of the crappy Chinese solder connections cracked. So now im stuck with a bricked ecu and the only other cable that i have that has a ftd chip is my ebay vagtacho cable. If I use Nefmoto flashing software the vagtacho cable shows up as usb< to>iso interphase device. So basically what im asking is can i use my vagtacho cable with galletto software some how some way?!? The clone vagcom cable that I have does not have the right chip to change make it work with galletto. Anyone have any thoughts or advice that would help that would be great! The kicker is that this car is my dd and i have to be to work at 4:30...
