Hello and thanks all for looking and helping. i have a 1999 passat 1.8t aeb that i bought from a insurance claim the drivers and passengers airbag has gone off. and now i have tried to start the car and it cranks and wont fire do these cars have a fuel pump shut off in the event of a airbag deployement? and if so can i disable this i am wanting this engine and ecu to use for a dune buggy project so i would like to have no airbags i was just wondering if there is a resistance signal for the airbags so i could possibly resistor it out ?

Vag k commander can do it
There is a version on here somewhere.

2.5 and 3.6 I believe

Kinda crazy but i have a valve train problem. 3 dead cylinders. The ppl who owned the car must have did a insurance claim scam
